A case report of ectodermal dysplasia patient treated with overdenture after rib bone graft.

Abstract

|
A six year old male patient of hereditary ectodermal dysplasia with oligodontia was treated by constructing upper and lower overdentures on natural teeth Patient was improved cosmetically, phonetically, psychologically and in mastication. After 18 months from delivery of overdenture, the relining of upper and lower dentures was done according to jaw bone growth. Periodic recall is required and derure should be reconstructed according to jaw bone growth.
